This is another post inspired by what I wish I would have known before I came to library school.
Every year ALA publishes a document called the State of Libraries Report. This document is released during National Library Week! It talks about a lot of the trends in the field and issues that libraries are facing.

This would have been really useful as I was trying to decide what I wanted to focus on.
